THE PIT – Fun in the Base Area (M)
The Pit is area located next to the Carinthia Base Area and is created from the snow hogged out of the superpipe.
The Pit is a hikeable park and is created through the minds of the park rangers with unique jibs and features. Hit Inferno and keep your speed to hit the quarter pipe or use the quarter pipe as a run in for the jibs on the other side.

Carinthia is the only all-park mountain face in New England, boasting 8 full park areas loaded with rails, jumps and pipes, nearly five miles of trails, tree-skiing zone, all-natural terrain area, mini-pipe and Mount Snow's monster superpipe. Eight of those parks feature new fan guns technology, the other four come with mother nature's help.
